Multi-Sensor System

Single commercial chip, which able to convert a generic array of sensors / transducers into an Intelligent, Data Visualization and Secure Data-Storage engine with multiple standardized analog/digital interfaces with wireless connectivity to mobile application based on iOS, Android and Windows platforms. The design and the realization of complex and/or distributed sensor’s monitoring systems is often difficult due to the multitude of different electronic interfaces presented by the sensors available on the market. To address these issues the Mircod propose the “plug and play” solution consist of Hardware, Software and Secure Cloud Storage turnkey ecosystem. The presented range of chip’s offers a flexible analog and/or digital front-end which able to interface different transducer typologies (such as conditioned, unconditioned, resistive, current output, capacitive and digital transducers). All Chip’s has a Wireless Built-in module capable to encrypt and transmit all captured data in real time format

Features: Oximetry, RR interval, Blood Pressure, Pulse, Brain Activity, Body Temperature, PH level. The system so measures arterial stiffness of patients, a condition associated with hypertension, diabetes and heart attacks. The direct peripheral artery detection of Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV) is a useful index in assessing atherosclerosis.
By connecting a high speed transducers we enable an accurate measurement even over the lower arm, sparing the need for ECG measurement for synchronization and sensors on the neck and legs.
We provide esthetic and miniature form factor – small array of sensors is worn on the body like a disposable bandage.

Mircod Helmet Impact Telemetry (MHITS) System. Existing solutions for measuring helmet accelerations are costly or not applicable for widespread, day-to-day usage. Mircod’s reference telemetry-based measurement and emergency response system incorporate an innovative computational algorithm, a miniature hardware and an emergency GPS notification platform with an automatic SMS/email dispatcher.

Bullet penetration acknowledgement system. Blood identification and estimation of the damage to vital organs. The chip-based method uses nanostructured microelectrodes and electrochemical readout.
It can confirm the presence of blood on smarts textile and create a virtual indicator with detailed information on the injury.

WEARABLES

Users attach the Mircod’s miniature device to any cloth / personal item, where it monitors environmental factors such as UV light, humidity, temperature, and air quality.
When paired with our app, multiple sensors create a real-time data map of local environments that users can read on their smartphones.
There is tiny frozen led display integrated inside / around the gadget – lights that change color as the quality of the air around them changes. The app also provides tips on how to navigate environments.
For instance, it can advise user to open a window, provide information on how to get the right amount of sunlight during vacation time, help to find routes with better air quality, etc.

LAB ON CHIP

“LoC” refers to technologies which allow operations which normally require a laboratory – synthesis and analysis of chemicals, physics, biology, materials science & bioengineering – on a miniaturized scale. Performing laboratory tests on small scales using miniaturized (lab-on-a-chip) devices with wireless functionality built-in, opens a new brief taking opportunities for designers and fabricators on science arena.
BENEFITS: Analysis of samples “on-site”, exactly where the samples are generated, rather than being transported around to a large laboratory facility. Nowadays LoC technology becomes part of the common world. Especially in the medical world where point-of-care test gives quick results and reduce the workload for doctors and analysts.
